Naturally processed coffees can be a bit polarizing in the coffee community. We value them as an exciting experience for coffee drinkers across the spectrum. If you like to keep it simple or if you’re always trying something new, a natural processed coffee is sure to leave an impression on what you think about coffee.
This coffee from the Guji region in southern Ethiopia, comes to us from several Smallholding producers. As the average farm size is so small in this region, typically around 2 acres in size, farmers rely on every bean they produce to provide for themselves. For this reason, as well as the coffee being a prefect example of what natural processed coffees are, we keep it on our coffee menu year-round.

To get the best out of this coffee we always recommend this recipe as a stating point
- Brew with a 1:16 ratio (one gram of coffee to every 16 grams of water).
- Get your Water as HOT as you can.
- Adjust your grind for a 3-4 minute brew time. (The finer the grind, the longer it will take to brew)
